SharePoint has many parts and facets that integrate into a core infrastructure. Using the newly written User Interface for Central Administration, Administrators are now able to quickly find the tools they need to support and manage the system. However as with many administrators the “command line” approach still works the best. To this end Microsoft have now extended not only the STSADM commands that we have come to love but also enabled us to user Powershell commands to manage every aspect of the SharePoint farm.
In this session we will look at the new features available in Central Administration as well as what Powershell brings to the table for administration.
