Megan Carpenter, vice president, employee communication & knowledge management, leads on strategy, planning and implementation of internal communication and knowledge sharing initiatives for APCO Worldwide, an international public affairs and strategic communication consultancy. In her knowledge management role, Ms. Carpenter ensures cross-company effectiveness in personnel, processes and the collective knowledge of the organization. She drives greater collaboration, efficiency and sharing of best practices across the global network. She works closely with the information technology team to build, buy and leverage technology to support knowledge sharing and internal communication efforts with responsibility for oversight of knowledge management platforms to including APCO IN the company’s SharePoint-based intranet.
